Hi, my name's Christine Lewis-Bednarski

 

First and foremost I am a passionate follower and lover of Christ (honestly, I don't know who, what or where I would be today without Him). When I was at my most broken, at the age of thirty-two, He came to where I was at and swept me off my feet with an experience of His love that changed my life forever.

 

Where once I was broken-hearted, His love healed me.

 

Where once I was without hope, His love breathed life into me so that I began to anticipate not only a future but a good future! As a Jesus Christ-follower and lover, I found dreams welling up on the inside of me, desires and longings of the like I had not known before. For the first time, I began to experience a sense of purpose.

 

Where once I believed I had no worth and would never amount to anything, His love showed me otherwise. His love showed me I was somebody without doing anything. I didn't need a claim to fame, in Christ, I just simply was somebody!

 

Where once I had a fractured, fragmented and mangled up past, his love restored - and continues to restore - the years lived in obeisance to the spirit of this world, the spirit Jesus said came to steal, kill and destroy.

 

And the 'Where once...' list goes on and on and on.

 

The long and short of it is this; Christ really is my Saviour!

 

So what does a person do when their story has been so radically and wonderfully transformed? I suppose there are a million and one different responses to such transformation... but for me, all I wanted to do was become a voice for the Transformer.

 

When, as a young Christian, I asked God how He intended to use my life, He led me to a scripture in the book of Isaiah which said; Through you, I am saying to the prisoners of darkness "Come out I am giving you your freedom"'

My next question was; 'Where, when, how?'

This time He took me to a scripture in Habakkuk which read; 'Slowly, steadily, surely the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled, it will not be overdue a single day'.

 

As of January 2020 - the last thirty-two years - I have been living the 'slowly, steadily, surely...' I have been giving my voice to the Transformer of lives, calling out those prisoners of darkness whenever the opportunity is given.

 

And so, I diligently study the word of God, I teach and preach as God opens the doors, I minister the love of God whenever and wherever I can, encouraging others to always look to and lift their hearts to Him.

 

My prayer is that this website will bless and encourage you in your faith, and help fuel your passion for our lovely Jesus and His Kingdom cause.
